For most people, using Dago 2–3 times per week is ideal as a main treatment for dandruff and hair fall. On other days, you can use a mild, nourishing shampoo if your hair needs extra washing.

Dago is generally suitable for normal, oily, and combination hair:If your hair is dry: Use a conditioner or nourishing hair mask on the lengths and ends only after shampooing. If your hair is oily: Dago helps deeply cleanse the scalp and reduce dandruff without excessively drying your hair when used as directed.

If you’ve had a keratin or protein treatment, it’s best to:Check with your stylist, dermatologist, or CosmaPay pharmacist first. Some treatments require shampoos that are completely free from strong sulphates, parabens, or certain salts. If your post-treatment routine is strict, confirm that Dago fits your specific care plan before using it regularly.

It depends on your scalp condition and routine:Dandruff and itching usually start to improve within 2–4 weeks of consistent use.Improvements in hair fall and density often take longer (around 6–12 weeks) and work best as part of a complete routine: proper nutrition, anti-hair fall lotion or serum, and stress control.

In general, any strongly medicated shampoo should be used after consulting a dermatologist or gynecologist, especially during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and particularly if you plan to use it regularly for a long time or if you have a history of skin sensitivity.

Dago is primarily designed for cases where dandruff and hair fall appear together. If you have hair fall without dandruff, it’s better to:Consult a dermatologist to identify the cause, andAsk the CosmaPay team to recommend a routine focused on hair fall only (a suitable shampoo and anti-hair fall lotion/serum, and supplements if needed).
